MacBook Pro 13" Stealth Shellstar rating 4BobboJanuary 26, 2011I recently purchased the Army Green version of this for my Macbook Pro 13", and overall, I would say its a pretty good case. It does its basic job, protecting my computer pretty well, and it looks pretty stylish, too. That being said, there are a few minor issues that you should be aware of before you purchase it. First, the soft rubber casing is quite prone to smudging. I know that sounds weird, but your body's natural oils show on the case pretty well, and it took my a bit by surprise. Also, my computer feels much heavier when the case is on it. I'm not sure it is some kind of illusion, but the added girth definitely feels like it adds a pound or two to the overall weight. Another slight issue I had is that the color I received (Army Green) is actually much darker than the color show on the website. It doesn't look bad, but expect it to be slightly darker should you get the same color. Like I said though, overall its a good case. I haven't owned any other ones to compare it to, but this one fits well and feels like it would protect my computer from slight bumps and scratches.
