Asus Eee PC Bubble Shellstar rating 4AscullyJanuary 7, 2010My wife bought me the Asus 1005HA for xmas (thanks babe) and I knew with that automotive finish I would need something to thwart the fingerprints. I bought the clear hard candy shell case and am very pleased with it. Not only does it stop fingerprints, it feels sturdy and will protect the computer when it is in a bag. It was very easy to install and was shipped in a timely manner. If I have one bad thing to say the shell adds a little weight to the netbook, not a massive issue but it does make it feel heavier.

Not only does it thwart the netbook's tendency to be a fingerprint magnet, but the snap on case just makes it feel more secure. Plus, my netbook looks like it's encased in ice! Very cool. I'm very happy with my HardCandy case, and will almost certainly purchase another when the super-rugged version is available: a case that looks like bulletproof Teflon is the next logical step.
